June 2021: As we are all truly unfit from the COVID break, joining us now would be easy, and would welcome anyone with an interest in dancing, supporting your local brewery, music sessions and brilliant days out (and great company obviously) to come and help us get fit again!

We dance, we play music, and enjoy supporting our local breweries. Come join us!

Black Dragon Morris

A mixed gender morris 'side', we were formed in the latter part of 2010 and became members of the 'Open Morris'. Since January 2012 we have become members of The Morris Federation. We set ourselves up to mainly concentrate on the dances that originated from the villages set deep in the Cotswolds. The majority of the villages, with their distinctive dance styles are centred in or around Oxfordshire. As with many folklore activities the exact replication becomes very subjective. However, with the written documentation available our main goal is to interpret those traditions the best way we can, whilst offering entertainment that is enjoyable to both audience and dancer alike.
